Meet Shi Ryuuki, (bishie extraordinaire) young Emperor of Saiunkoku. Not very much to say this time because most people won't know who I'm talking about (but if you have a chance, do check the anime, it's wonderful!) Not one of my best pieces by far but I *had* to finish it and get it out of my system. He had a more forlorn expression on the pencil sketch, which I liked better, and I royally screwed up his beautiful eyes, but the first sketch from a new series is always tricky (I *know* I've been drawing too much Bleach) I want to say there will be more Saiunkoku (bishies) art soon, but we all know what happens when I say something like that... |

There is NO such thing as "too much Bleach" (specially if it is Uki-chan) and also, he looks soooooo kawaiiiii. I love how smooth everything looks, like he posed for the pic, hehe. The hair and expression are soo perfect^^

And like I was telling the person above, there can be too much Bleach when you feel its influence on everything else I try to draw... And I've discovered that long hair is no fun at all with the Pen Tool, which is very unfortunate when I love Ukitake and Ryuuki so much *heads desk*
